Place on the headphones, breath in deep and listen for the voice of your guide as they prepare you, our great explorer, for one last epic adventure.

A transporting, interactive audio experience for all ages that asks, where do you find hope when stepping into the unknown?

Instructions to Those Leaving Planet Earth is an audio theatre show experienced through headsets taking place at St Giles, Newcastle-under-Lyme. Created in response to installation One Small Step created by Lichfield Cathedral artist-in-residence, Peter Walker, on display at the church. Learn more about One Small Step here.

  • Free | No need to book, just drop in | Headsets are limited, first come first served

  • Lasts: 20 mins

  • Accessibility: This is a solo show experienced through a pair of headphones (provided) that asks you to travel around the church. The walk around the church is wheelchair accessible. The piece can also be enjoyed sat down if mobility is limited. Suitable for all but recommended ages 8+.
